Why - My Money Journal

My Money Journal is a logbook designed to help children keep track of money they receive and spend.  Entries are recorded in an intuitive manner.

Basic details are recorded about money received and spent. The process is simple and inconspicuous. As journal entries are completed, history can be reviewed with teachers and parents.   Self-reflection or team review will reinforce the fundamentals of financial literacy.

Practical Scenario

Have you ever received money for your birthday or helped with a chore and earned a little cash?

That’s called income—money you receive.

But when you buy something, like a toy or a snack, that’s an expense—money you spend.

Learning the difference between income and expenses is very important because it helps you make smart choices with your money.

If you spend more than you get, you might run out!

But if you learn how to save and spend wisely, you can reach your goals and even have money left for fun things later.

It’s never too early to start being money smart!

Learning and reinforcing fundamentals without a hassle is the best way to know something.

My Money Journal will help children develop and master money fundamentals!
